7th Annual HPWREN Users meeting held at the Pala Native American Reservation

The 7th Annual HPWREN Users meeting was hosted by the Pala Band of Mission Indians on November 19, 2008 in their Administration building.

Following the introduction by Pala's Chairman Robert Smith and Pala Bird Singers, 18 presenters showed updates on their work. In addition, Michael Peralta of the Tribal Digital Village Network led an informal open discussion about a potential for collaborations with Native Americans during the lunch break, with a particular focus on sensors that could be mutually beneficial.
